Polycystic Ovaries(PCOs)

In this condition, the ovaries contain multiple small cysts and may increase in size. In a normal monthly cycle, the ovaries will produce 100-200 eggs but usually only one will reach a mature size and known as the leading follicle. If the leading follicle is not fertilized and released, the remaining eggs will die after the disappearance of their leader follicle and so on every cycle. In cases of Polycystic Ovaries, the eggs usually remain small and do not grow and there is no leading follicle. So all the eggs stay small and ovaries become in state like stand still.
